Easy Guide on How to Boil Eggs for Easter

Easter is fast approaching, and for many families, especially those who are Catholic, decorating eggs and hosting a fun egg hunt is an important part of celebrating the resurrection of Christ.

Here is a quick and easy way how to boil eggs for an Easter egg hunt.

  1.  Refrigerate 

We all know that eggs are easily perishable so they must be refrigerated most of the time (before and after boiling). This will also ensure you of having fresh eggs. Refrigerating your eggs will also prevent you from having food poisoning.

Boiling eggs is the first essential step in making and decorating easter eggs. To boil an egg here are the things that you need:

  • Pot with lid
  • Water
  • Container
  • Ice
  • Eggs

Put some water in the pot just enough water to cover the eggs by 1 inch. Bring to a rolling boil over medium heat temperature. Let the egg sit and set up a timer of 10 to 15 minutes. Once the timer is done, remove the eggs from the pot immediately and submerge them in the container with water and ice to help the eggs cool down.
