Budget-Friendly Easter Activities for your Family

Easter bunnies will be hopping around before you know it! With Easter right around the corner, you’re probably ready for a fun and memorable time with your family and friends. During this pandemic people are on a tight budget but what if I tell you that a holiday celebration does not mean that you have to break the bank.  Here are some budget-friendly activities that you can do with your family this Easter.

  1.  Easter Crafts

Easter crafts are a great way to get the whole family involved and get the creative juices flowing! To celebrate the season, kids will enjoy making glittered eggs, DIY Bunny Cards, fun Easter baskets, and other crafts that you can use for decoration of your home or put the craft inside the plastic egg container for Easter egg hunt prices. It’s important to remember, that many of the craft examples we see online are created by adults. When attempting them with children, read and follow the child’s lead. This is the point at which crafting and creativity collide.

  1.  Easter Baking

Baking is one of the best budget-friendly activities you can do for Easter after all it’s simply not Easter without delicious baked goods and treats for everyone to enjoy. Get the kids involved in making this Easter treats! Spend the afternoon decorating bunny biscuits or keeping them occupied by baking delicious Easter cookies, cake, brownies, or all of the above and more! After all, who can say no to dessert?

  1.  Easter Egg Hunt

The egg hunt is one of the most awaited activities for Easter but before your start, you have to be fully equipped with eggs, baskets, and a spacious venue in order for your Easter egg hunt to be successful and enjoyable.

Players will have to find as many eggs as they can in a limited amount of time using clues. Each clue will point them in the direction of the next Easter egg. The more eggs they find, the better, because each one contains a prize that they can keep. As for prizes, candy, chocolate, or even spare change can be used as egg fillers!

  1.  Go to Church

Easter is not just about egg hunts, baking, and doing some bunny crafts but it is a celebration for us Catholics with that being said, Easter Sunday would not be complete without going to church to celebrate the resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ. Imagine a peaceful and quiet time of reflection in your Houston Apartment with your family dressed in their best enjoying a delicious breakfast before going to church, one of the best ways to start your Easter Sunday Morning.

  1.  Family Meal

After going to church the perfect activity is to have a meal with your family. How often do families eat dinner together these days? Sometimes, we don’t realize that it does not happen often due to work or school so why not take the great chance to sit down together, have a meal, and have a proper chat without any distractions. If possible encourage everyone in your family to switch off their phone for an hour or two. Regardless of the budget, there are plenty of affordable restaurants out there that your family can enjoy or you can just go home to your Texas Apartment and enjoy your home-cooked meals with your family. What matters most is to spend quality time with your loved ones.
