Our situation is hard these days, especially with the outbreak of coronavirus. Self-isolation and social distancing are normal nowadays. But staying indoors can be as much fun and productive as going out. Here are some tips to keep your boredom away during the COVID-19 lockdown.
1.) Call your Family and Friends
You are not the one who is self-isolating and stocking their home and it would be nice if you let your family and friends know that you are thinking of them during these hard times.
2.) Clean and Clear Out your Wardrobe
Cleaning out your wardrobe is one of the things that we usually don’t have time to do but since we are on lockdown this is the best time to sort out your clothes, declutter and omit items that don’t fit anymore and clothes that you have not worn for the past 12 months. Arranging and color coordinating your clothes in sections will help you find things easier and can inspire you new combinations of outfits every day.
3.) Read a Book
Best way to kill your time is to read a book. It’s time to read that book that’s been sitting on your bookshelf for months or even years. Get a drink and snack while reading a book, perfect combination!
4.) Netflix and Chill
Now is the time to catch up on those TV series that you missed or have a movie marathon while eating pizza on the side. This will keep you entertained for hours.
5.) Exercise
Replace your gym visit with a home work out. You can even watch some tutorials on YouTube. Staying fit will help you boost your immune system.
6.) Learn to Play an Instrument
Dedicate your new-found time on learning to play the instrument that you’ve always wanted to play.
7.) Learn a new Language
Challenge yourself to learn a new language in just a few weeks. You might not know that maybe on your next trip you can use the new language that you just recently learned. With a lot of ways such as downloading an app and visiting a website that gives you lessons for free or as simple as watching a series with foreign language can help you learn a new language.
8.) Start cooking Healthy Food
Learning a new healthy recipe is a must during this pandemic. We should take extra care of our body and boost our immune system by always trying to eat healthy food.
9.) Learn a New Skill
Now is the perfect time to expand your knowledge and learn new things. Now is the time to do anything that you once never had time for or to do and learn to do something new.
Take advantage of this time and make the most of it, especially if you have the privilege of spending time at home with family. Always keep in mind that our safety is the top most priority.
